In 2026, CAIB is being updated and this is the new version of the Weekly Webinars — New Edition 1.0. The previous Self-Study edition will remain available so learners can complete CAIB 2 and 3 under the same version. Both CAIB 2 and 3 must be completed using the same edition (this restriction doesn't apply to CAIB 1 and 4).

The program is offered in a variety of formats to suit your learning style, and the four CAIB modules can be taken in any order. Live instruction is delivered by an experienced broker through weekly 1–2 hour webinar sessions on weekday evenings. These sessions are interactive, encouraging participation and idea sharing.

Since 2024, ProctorU has been used to proctor all CAIB exams. A non-refundable $55 Exam Proctor Fee is added to the cost of all CAIB courses. Exams are conducted online with a virtual proctor and can be written from home or any private space with internet access. They are hosted on TopClass, while ProctorU provides the virtual proctor. It is the exam taker’s responsibility to book a proctor through ProctorU, and your specific start time will be determined during that process.

Detailed instructions on exam registration will be emailed three weeks before the exam date. Before beginning the exam, you’ll be asked to accept the CAIB Examination Rules. A short video is available to explain the exam process.

If eight or more candidates are scheduled to write on the same day at the same office, you may arrange for an in-person group exam, proctored by a RIBO Level 3 Licensed Broker.
