How Their Tech Supports Brokers
The platform provides instant access to underwriting rules, billing details and carrier appetite. It enables underwriting comparisons across markets, centralizes workflows for easier onboarding and helps brokers deliver faster quotes and better service.
Solving Problems
“When we launched, insurance professionals were expected to move fast and serve customers with confidence, but the firehose of information they had to manage was overwhelming. Product updates, underwriting rules and appetite guidelines were scattered across PDFs, emails, portals and shared drives. Brokers had to search through multiple systems and sources for the answers they needed. ProNavigator was built to solve the knowledge management problem by providing instant answers to essential information that’s accurate, up to date and easy to manage across teams.”
Fast Facts
Launched at IBAOcon in 2016.
Has been leveraging AI since 2018, years before generative AI went mainstream.
Processed over 10,000 version updates in 2024 alone to keep carrier info current.
ProNavigator was born out of frustration with slow, poor customer service experiences. That gap between what customers expected and what internal teams could deliver became the spark.
Desired Impact
“We want to bridge the gap caused by staff retirements with AI-enabled tools that help retain institutional knowledge and expertise. We want to enable a future where every insurance professional can find accurate answers instantly, no matter their role, system or experience.”
What They’re Most Proud Of
Delivering real value including faster onboarding, fewer delays and more confident teams. “We’re proud to have earned the trust of the industry’s leading organizations, and to be recognized by customers and partners who see the impact our technology is having for their teams. Most of all, we’re proud to be building something that supports the next generation of insurance professionals in doing their jobs faster, better, and with less friction.”
Advice For Brokers
Start small by prioritizing real, daily pain points. Focus on solving problems and achieving measurable outcomes, not chasing buzzwords. Look for solutions that can deliver value quickly. “Digital transformation isn’t about replacing people. It’s about freeing them from delays and time-consuming manual tasks so they can provide faster, better service to their customers.”
What Winning Means
“We have close relationships with Ontario’s broker community—this award is meaningful because it shows we’re making a difference. We appreciate recognition for our team’s commitment to innovation that serves people, not just technology. This motivates us to keep improving and raising the bar on what’s possible.”
