On November 17th, we headed to Queen’s Park to ensure Ontario Brokers continue to have a strong, consistent voice on the issues that matter to consumers and communities.

We held close to 60 meetings with MPPs and senior officials, engaging with the Attorney General, Solicitor General, Associate Minister of Auto Theft, Ministers of Environment, Municipal Affairs and Housing, and Labour, senior Finance Ministry leaders, NDP Leader Marit Stiles and key opposition critics.

Discussions focused on ensuring a seamless transition to Ontario’s new auto product for both brokers and consumers, addressing affordability and natural catastrophe risks, tackling auto theft and strengthening cybersecurity protection for businesses.

We emphasized the importance of maintaining a competitive, accessible insurance market and advocated for programs and policies that safeguard homeowners, businesses and consumers.

Every Advocacy Day reinforces the importance of ongoing engagement and the vital role brokers play in supporting Ontarians. Thanks to all our members who showed up, advocated for their colleagues and represented the industry with expertise and commitment.
